FORTHEM Green Travel Roadshow
Green Travel for Students
As part of the FORTHEM Green Travel Road Show Dr. Stefan Baumeister from the University of Jyväskylä in Finland will provide this lecture during his stay at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Dr. Baumeister will open up on the topic of Green Travel, talking about its purpose and get to know alternatives to air travel and how these work in practice. Therefore, he will share some of his own first-hand Green Travel experience going around Europe by train for 30 days. The participants will have the opportunity to get to know the concept of Green Travel and its importance in practice. At the end of the lecture, there will be a Q&A session during which students can actively engage in the discussion.
Some representatives from Erasmus by train, a student initiative, will share their experiences as well.
